Chiang Dao Caves

      There are five interconnected caves just a short walk from Malee's Nature Lovers Bungalows which make up the Tham Chiang Dao complex, which is believed to stretch for many kilometers into Doi Chiang Dao. Only a small part of the complex can be explored, two of these caves Tham Phra Nawn 360m long and Tham Seua Dao 540m are illuminated by electric lights and can be explored alone. The three other remaing caves Tham Maa 7365m, Tham Kaew 477m and Tham Namm 660m can also be explored but only with the aid of local guides with lanterns. The guides will show you the spectacular cave formations many of which are named.
